Hempel’s Underwater Primer is a quick drying substance that can be used as an antifouling primer, a keel primer or as an antifouling sealer/tie-coat. A fantastic characteristic about the primer is that it can be used as a sealing between an old and new antifouling paint. For use on all areas below the waterline, including keels.

Application can take place via a spray, a roller, a paint brush or a paint pad. It is recommended that painting via spray is only done by professionals. A minimum of 2 coats are recommended.
If applied at 10C, three hours. If applied at 20C, six hours.
