International Gelshield 200 Primer

International Gelshield 200's fantastic paint immersion properties enable you to apply multiple coats in just one day. A quick drying Epoxy Primer for Osmosis Protection.

You can apply the primer in temperatures as low as 5C, however for the best performance it is recommended that you apply the application at temperatures no lower than 10C. A 750ml litre tin will cover approximately six metres square, and you can apply the primer with a brush or a paint roller.

How can Gelshield 200 be applied?

It can be applied with a brush or a paint roller. A minimum of five coats are recommended.

How long does International Gelshield take to become touch dry?

If applied at: 5C – 24 hours. 15C – 18 hours. 23C – 12 hours. 35C – 8 hours.

How long should I wait in-between coats?

If applied at: 5C – 10 hours. 15C – 5 hours. 23C – 3 hours. 35C – 2 hours. 

What is Gelshield 200 Primer's coverage?

Approximately 8.1 metres square per litre.

What is the immersion time?

If applied at 5C - 8 hours. 15C - 6 hours. 23C - 4 hours. 35C - 4 hours.

At what temperature can International Gelshield be applied?

It is recommended that the primer is applied with the temperature between 5C and 35C. 

What is the finish?

Matt finish
