Suitable for offshore sailing, Seago's new ISO 9650-1 accredited Sea Master Plus life raft is manufactured from the safest and most durable materials possible. The Seago life raft is perfect for use offshore sailing in recreational or coded craft, light commercial and small fishing vessels. Years of rigorous testing have been combined with feedback from users from a wide range of different backgrounds to produce one of the safest life rafts available on the market.
The 14 man life raft inflates within seconds, minimising the user’s exposure to water and increasing their chances of survival. Hand over hand grab lines and an inflatable boarding step (also used in Seago SOLAS life rafts) make entry easy. Once inside, the thermally insulated layer on the floor will reduce the chances of hypothermia by increasing warmth. You’ll also find an internal light, which is a necessity if you’re using the raft in low light, plus a flashing light on the exterior that can be seen from miles away when visibility is good, increasing the chances of you being seen by potential rescuers. The high-visibility canopy itself is constructed from a highly durable and waterproof rip-stop nylon fabric.
Whilst help is on its way, the fresh water collection system ensures rain is not wasted, enabling you to stay hydrated. Even in the roughest seas you will be fine thanks to the life rafts 6 x 55 litre ballast pockets that help prevent the raft from over turning even in the harshest conditions.
