A compact Overboard Location Alert System (OLAS) developed to provide a scalable wireless safety system for vessels up to 80ft in length.
The OLAS tag is a compact OLAS transmitter that is easily attached to adults, children, pets and objects, including overboard flotation devices. The tags are tracked by the OLAS application on a mobile device, or alternatively by the Core, Guardian and Extender.
OLAS creates virtual tethers to the crew. Within two seconds of a tag losing connection with an OLAS receiver, the crew will be alerted by the OLAS alarm and light, whilst the OLAS MOB rescue screen is activated on the OLAS mobile application. The mobile phone(s) will sound a loud alarm, making the crew aware that someone is overboard.
OLAS then aids the crew with the man overboard recovery, clearly directing them to the GPS location where the MOB occurred with clear visual signals and bearing data. All of the location data and the time of incident required by rescue services is stored.
The OLAS tag can be fully integrated with Crewsaver's ErgoFit+ Life Jacket.
Additional navigational features including SOG, COG, bearing to waypoint, course to steer and a compass.
Battery life of up to 4 months.
Connect up to 6 tags to 1 phone or tablet.
Connect 1 tag to multiple phones or tablets.
Cost-effective crew tag and portable man overboard alarm.
Each tag is supplied with a universal silicone wrist strap with a stainless steel buckle and pre-installed CR2477 battery that is user replaceable.
FREE iOS and Android app.
Low battery alert.
Versatile attachment solution (watch, life jacket, mob device with one strap).
The OLAS app is a powerful tool for controlling the Guardians functions, and for aiding in fast rescue. As long as you have a device running the minimum of iOS11 or Android 5.1 - you're good to go.
Check battery status for OLAS tags.
Customise OLAS transmitter names, making them easy to allocate.
Monitor all OLAS transmitters that are being tracked.
Add new OLAS transmitters to the Guardian system.
Adjust between cut-off switch and external alarm mode
Adjust the time before the Guardian reacts to an overboard transmitter between 2 seconds to 15
seconds - this allows more freedom around larger vessels.
External alarm mode activates the inbuilt switch until it is manually cancelled. This allows external, high power, alarms to be connected in series.
Kill switch mode activates the inbuilt switch for 5 seconds, cutting off the engine, but allowing users to
restart the engine after 5 seconds
Pause the alarm state.
Pause the Guardian system if transmitters are leaving the area for a short period.
Adjust the time before the cut-off switch or alarm is triggered – this provides greater freedom.
Easily adjust individual transmitters between Engine cut-off (for the skipper), Alarm only (for passengers) and Pause (for passengers leaving the vessel temporarily)
sounding the external alarm if a tag wearer is out of range on both the Guardian and your mobile device.
External Alarm & Rescue Aid:
Clear display of the time and GPS location of where the alarm was triggered and the user's current location.
Designed for when boating on your own within 2G cellular range or offshore Wifi. Solo mode will send an automatic text message to a custom number with your location and time of the incident. If a self-rescue is managed, an automatic text is sent cancelling the alert.
Indication of which transmitter has triggered the alarm.
Maximum volume alarm and vibration on your mobile phone, synchronized with the Guardian.
Record the GPS location of where the alarm was triggered, then get clear guidance back to the GPS location where the alarm was triggered.
VHF emergency script with automatic GPS co-ordinate input and custom vessel information - whilst in solo mode.
A next level man overboard system that can easily be attached to adults, children, pets and objects...
