The largest of our excellent offering of life rafts, 10 person life rafts are suitable for larger vessels where more people will be on board. If there are less people on board an 8 man life raft, 6 man life raft or even 4 man life raft may be more suited to your requirements.

A life raft is something we hope you will never have to use, as they are only to be used as a last resort – for example if your boat is on fire or is damaged beyond the level of any temporary fix, this is why we only source life rafts from leading brands that we would trust our own lives with, including Crewsaver, Seago, Ocean Safety and Viking.

10 Person Life Rafts

Once you’ve found a suitable life raft, you will be presented with two options: valise or container. The option you go for really depends on where you intend on storing your life raft. Valise life rafts come in a bag that can be tucked away in a safe, secure but easily accessible place such as a watertight locker. In comparison, a container life raft offers more protection than its valise counterpart thanks to a tough and durable outer shell, but will need a life raft cradle if you wish to mount it.

Your life raft should be mounted, or kept somewhere easily accessible should you need to deploy it in an emergency. If you wish to automatically deploy your life raft, you will need a hydrostatic release.
