It's paramount to wear adequate protective equipment whilst carrying out any boat maintenance job as you can put yourself and potentially others in danger without it. The equipment you require obviously depends on the task at hand, but we'll use antifouling paint application as an example.

For antifoul application, we recommend the following protective equipment:

• Eye protection.
• Nitrile gloves.
• A mask to cover both your nose and mouth.
• Overalls that do not leave any skin exposed.
