Garmin gWind Race Mast Head Transducer with GND10 Black Box & 25m Mast Cable

An easy to install wind instrument designed for racing sailboats.

Garmin's gWind Race transducer features a 1 metre straight pole to raise the transducer above the mast, removing turbulance errors. Twin-fin technology with a 3-bladed propeller provides accurate true wind speed in lighter air. In addition, unlike a cup design, a 3-bladed propeller is always efficient. The twin-fin design provides a stable true wind angle. When combined with optic reading, the transducer provides superior accuracy at low wind speeds and also provides excellent linearity.

ALso included is GND10 black box bridge that enables the Nexus Network and compatible Garmin chartplotters to share critical NMEA 2000 data. The GND10 enables Garmin chartplotter owners to use nexus sail equipment, and vice versa.
