Hempel’s Underwater Primer is a quick drying substance that can be used as an antifouling primer, a keel primer or as an antifouling sealer/tie-coat. How can Hempel's Underwater Primer be applied?
Application can take place via a spray, a roller, a paint brush or a paint pad. It is recommended that painting via spray is only done by professionals. A minimum of 2 coats are recommended.
How long should I wait in-between coats?
If applied at 10C, three hours. If applied at 20C, six hours.
How long does Underwater Primer take to dry?
At 20C, three hours. At 10C, six hours.
What is Hempel Underwater Primer's coverage?
Approximately 7.8 metres square per litre.
At what temperature can Underwater Primer be applied?
It is recommended that the substance is applied at temperatures between 5C and 35C. Avoid applying in direct sunlight.
What is the flash point?
35C.
What will the finish be?
Flat.
