West System Colloidal Silica is an epoxy thickening additive that controls the viscosity of the mixed epoxy. The strong filler creates a smooth mixture, making it ideal for epoxy bonding and filleting. 406 is West System's most versatile filler and when used with other fillers, can improve strength, abrasion resistance and the consistency of epoxy fairing compounds, resulting in a tougher, smoother surface. The filler can be blended into any West System 105 resin/20X harder combination, G/Flex Epoxy 650 or G5 Five Minute adhesive.
