West System's 422 Barrier Coat is a proprietary blend designed to improve the moisture-exclusion effectiveness of West System epoxy, and to combat osmosis. 422 is also an excellent additive for providing a barrier coating to overcome gelcoat blistering, and also increasing abrasion resistance. West System recommend that you add 20% to 25% by weight to the mixed epoxy. Can be added to any mixed West System 105/200 series hardener combination. Cures to grey.
