Hempel's Primer Undercoat is a quick drying, single component primer that can be used on all substrates above the waterline, including steel. The formula offers excellent durabiliy and surface stability ready for overcoating with a single component topcoat.
How can Hempel's Primer Undercoat be applied?
Application can take place via a spray, a roller, a paint brush or a paint pad.
How long should I wait in-between coats?
If applied at 10C, 8 hours. If applied at 20C, four hours.
How long does Undercoat take to become touch dry?
At 20C, three hours. At 10C, six hours.
What is Hempel Primer's theoretical spreading rate?
Approximately 12 metres square per litre.
At what temperature can the Primer be applied?
It is recommended that the substance is applied at temperatures between 5C and 35C. Avoid applying in direct sunlight.
