International's Pre Kote is easy to rub down, ensuring a smooth base for your finishing coat. A long lasting, easy to apply undercoat for one-part finishes.
Furthermore, Pre Kote's excellent opacity makes colour changing easy and thanks to its long overcoating times, coat on coat application is possible.
How can Pre Kote be applied?
It can be applied with a brush, paint roller, conventional spray or airless spray although application via spray is recommended for professional use only. 2-3 coats are recommended.
How long should I wait in-between coats?
If applied at 5C – Minimum of 36 hours, maximum of 4 days.
15C – Minimum of 24 hours, maximum of 3 days.
23C – Minimum of 16 hours, maximum of 2 days.
30C – Minimum of 4 hours, maximum of 24 hours.
How long does Pre Kote take to become touch dry?
15C – 6 hours.
23C – 3 hours.
35C – 60 minutes.
What is Pre Kote's coverage?
Approximately 12 metres square per litre.
At what temperature can Pre Kote be applied?
It is recommended that the substance is applied with the temperature between 5C and 35C.
