Starbrite Step 1 Premium Teak Cleaner

A quick, easy to use formula that cleans teak and other fine woods to prepare them for oiling. The teak cleaner removes stains and weathering and can be used as the first step in restoration of grey, weathered teak. There is no need to sand after cleaning.

Directions For Use:

Badly weathered (grey or black) teak:
1. Apply Starbrite Premium Teak Cleaner directly to wood.
2. Spread the cleaner with a stiff bristle cleaning brush or a Starbrite Medium Scrub Pad.
3. Allow the cleaner to remain on the surface for approximately 2-3 minutes, then scrub in the direction of wood grain to ensure deep cleaning.
4. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water.
5. For stained areas, use Starbrite Magic Scrub to remove the most stubborn discolouration.

Lightly stained teak:
1. Wet wood with fresh water.
2. Apply Starbrite Premium Teak Cleaner and spread with a brush or Starbrite Medium Scrub Pad.
3. Scrub lightly to remove dirt and stains.
4. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water.
5. After completely cleaning the wood, apply Starbrite Premium Teak Brightener to highlight the wood grain and enhance natural wood colour.
6. To preserve and protect the cleaned wood, apply Starbrite Premium Golden Teak Oil or Tropical Teak Oil Sealer.

Immediately rinse spills and drips from surfaces not to be treated. Avoid contact with fabrics.
