Garmin's AIS800 Blackbox Transceiver is an easy-to-use, reliable communication unit that transmits your vessel information to other AIS receivers in your area, while receiving AIS target data. Thanks to 5 watts of transmit power, AIS 800 provides faster positioning reporting than ever before. There's also an internal VHF antenna splitter which allows the VHF and AIS to share a single antenna, plus built-in GPS (with connector for optional external antenna).
Designed to integrate seamlessly into your Garmin on-board system, the AIS transceiver features NMEA 0183/2000 connectivity for easy integration with compatible chartplotters and multifunction displays.
