Lowrance HDS Live 16" Fishfinder

Lowrance's HDS LIVE fishfinder takes fish finding to a new level, with the best set of navigation tools ever built into a fishfinder/chartplotter display. HDS LIVE features preloaded worldwide basemap, automatic routing support and new Genesis live onscreen mapping that offers precision real-time mapping down to 1/2 foot contours.

In addition, the Lowrance fishfinder includes built-in Lowrance CHIRP sonar, support for Active imaging, StructureScan 3D with Active Imaging and the new ActiveTarget Live Sonar, which we'll go into further detail about first.

ActiveTarget Live Sonar:
When you know exactly what fish are doing - in real time, you'll fish smarter. With ActiveTarget Live Sonar, you'll enoy high-resolution views of fish movements, tracking them as they swim in and around cover. In addition, you can watch their real-time response to your lure, and you will know if your current technique is working, or if it's time for a switch of plan.

ActiveTarget offers market-leading clarity and detail from a Live Sonar, removing the guesswork from traditional sonar interpretation. Furthermore, with ActiveTarget Multiple Views, you'll be able to see around and beneath your boat with Forward, Down and Scout views.

Active Imaging:
Active Imaging sonar delivers superior clarity and the highest resolution images of fish and structure at a longer range than any other structure-imaging technology, making it perfect for pinpointing fish-holding areas such as rockpiles, standing timber, weedbeds, ditches and drop-offs.

FishReveal:
FishReveal makes fish easier to see on DownScan imaging by combining CHIRP sonar fish targets with superior, high-resolution views of bottom detail, structure and bait fish. There's no longer the need to display CHIRP Sonar and DownScan Imaging in a two-panel split screen.

Real Time Mapping:
Real Time Mapping enables you to update the mapping of your favourite fishing spot, or map unmapped areas with 1/2 foot contours in real time on the screen of your fishfinder/chartplotter with C-MAP Genesis Live. Target key fishing areas and easily find areas where fish like to hide, like drop-offs, points, ditches and more. Furthermore, Genesis Live provides you with a huge range of customisation options; control colour transparency, contour density, depth and safety shading colour palettes and more.

Smartphone Notifications:
Never miss an important text or call with built-in smartphone notifications. You can turn off phone notifications for uninterrupted fishing, or leave them on to receive pop up notifications on the screen of your HDS LIVE display.

LiveCast Smartphone Integration:
This 16" model, along with the 12" HDS Live Fishfinder benefit from LiveCast smartphone integration. This enables you to watch video, view Google Maps and fishing data on the high-resolution screen of your HDS LIVE display via the HDMI connection. View data from your smartphone and keep your eye on the fish with a LiveCast-sonar split screen.
