Pro Sensor Inflation & Back Tow Technology:
Ocean 275N's pro sensor elite inflation system activates automatically when submerged in water. Inside the firing head is a compressed paper capsule; once it becomes wet, the capsule dissolves, releasing a spring that punctures the CO₂ cylinder and inflates the lifejacket.
The firing head is engineered so that water must travel upwards into the unit before the capsule can dissolve, and the lifejacket’s outer cover provides additional protection. This design ensures that rain, sea spray, or general moisture will not trigger an accidental inflation.
Once inflated, the wearer can pull the large BackTow handle, located on top of the right-hand bladder. This action turns the wearer into a secure, face-up seated position in the water, allowing them to be safely towed alongside the boat.
The BackTow system also acts as a strong lifting point during recovery. A halyard can be attached to any part of the BackTow strop, enabling even a smaller crew member to recover a person overboard wearing a TeamO lifejacket with the assistance of a winch.
